Configuring start time limits for working time registration

HRnest allows you to limit the time range in which Employees can register the start of their working time. This feature is useful for organizations that want to prevent employees from starting work too early or need better control over working time records.

IMPORTANT: This feature must be enabled by the Customer Success team. To activate it in your organization, contact us via chat or at support@hrnest.io.

Once the feature is enabled, you can define the time range during which Employees are allowed to start their working time.

NOTE: Both limits must be set for the restriction to work. If only one limit is set (for example, only the start time), the restriction will not apply.

For example, you can allow Employees to start working time registration only between 7:00 and 9:00. If an Employee tries to start registration outside this range, the system will display a clear message informing them that registration is blocked:

The working time registration limit applies to all Employees in the organization. It works for the following time registration methods:

  • Selecting hours mode,

  • Start / Stop mode,

  • Mark attendance mode.

The settings also apply to working time registered using QR codes.
